Fast Weight Loss is Not Always the Best Weight Loss



Having struggled with weight for the longest time, many can safely say that they are amongst the billions of earthlings that would love to know the secret to fast and easy weight loss. Attempts to go to the gym are thwarted by the muscle aches and pains experienced during and after every workout. Also in terms of nutrition, many want to lose the extra weight but do not want to cut out the cheeseburgers and chocolates from their menus. However, there are some tips on how to lose weight without resorting to supplement shakes and metabolism pills.

Some starve themselves but this actually does not cut on the weight but on the fluids in your body, which is why the moment you eat more than the amount you were ‘dieting’ on; your weight bounces back and might come with some extra kilo friends. If anything, be advised to take smaller meals, about 6 a day, without skipping a meal and accompany that with the life’s stipulated eight glasses of water a day. In addition, you can choose to eat filling meals. For example, make vegetable salads but do not restrict yourself to this alone as you need to be healthy so you must eat balanced meals.

Also, choose actual fruit over fruit juices, as they are a more healthy option over the box of orange juice preserved using chemicals. Also people who eat cereals like muesli or bran, in other words cereals high in fiber, more often than those that have the continental breakfast of bacon and eggs do experience a considerable amount of weightless as the fat intake is much less. In addition, lesser intake of carbohydrates helps in weight loss. In other words, you would rather eat brown rice, whole-wheat bread, and whole-wheat flour over white rice and white bread.

Most importantly, many wish that exercise were permanently gone from the guide to quick weight loss but that will never happen. You must be active, as you must use the energy in your body, which if not utilized, turns to fat in your body. You can choose to walk or jog over driving, you can take the stairs over the lift, and some of the chores you do can burn a couple of calories too. You can do home based exercises and you do not have to pay hefty gym memberships to stay healthy.

One thing to consider is that any form of fast weight loss is unhealthy. For example, if you are exercising and eating healthier and less and you lose over 1.5 pounds in a week, then it might prove unhealthy and sometimes fatal. Some degrees of weight loss are not a cause of celebration but a reason to head down to your doctor’s office because it might also be something much worse than you think. The most important reason to lose weight is to keep healthy and extend your ’shelf life’ so it is advisable to do it for the right goals and reasons.
